CourtFlow Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 16, 2026. This policy applies to the CourtFlow web platform and CourtFlow Player mobile app.

What We Collect

  • Account details such as email and authentication identifiers.
  • Tournament data entered by organizers and players.
  • Push notification tokens to deliver round and game alerts.
  • Ad interaction events (impressions and clicks) in player/mobile views.
  • Operational logs and diagnostics needed for reliability and support.
  • Support communications you send us, including messages related to troubleshooting or account requests.

Health Data Disclosure (Google Play User Data)

CourtFlow collects and processes player sports performance data entered in tournaments. This can include match scores, wins/losses, rankings, standings, and playoff results linked to a player profile or account. Under Google Play policy, this may be treated as Health and Fitness data.

  • Data collected: player performance/results data (scores, outcomes, rankings, standings, playoff progression).
  • How we use it: tournament operations, score updates, leaderboard display, schedule context, and optional match notifications.
  • How we share it: shown to tournament organizers, participants, and authorized viewers as part of tournament functionality; processed by infrastructure providers that host and deliver the service.
  • What we do not access: no medical records, no diagnosis/treatment information, and no direct import from HealthKit, Apple Health, Google Fit, Health Connect, or similar platform health APIs.
  • Control and deletion: users can request data deletion at /data-deletion.

How We Use Data

  • Operate tournaments, schedules, scoring, and leaderboard features.
  • Send optional push notifications when users enable alerts.
  • Measure app reliability, debug issues, and improve product quality.
  • Measure sponsored content performance in approved placements.
  • Respond to support requests and data deletion requests.

Third-Party Services

CourtFlow uses AWS (hosting, APIs, database, logs), Expo (push infrastructure), Apple APNs, Google FCM, and payment providers where applicable.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it.

  • Account data: retained while your account is active, and up to 24 months after inactivity unless you request deletion earlier.
  • Tournament data: retained while needed for tournament operations and history, and removed after account deletion subject to backup cycles.
  • Push notification tokens: retained until you disable notifications, uninstall the app, or after extended inactivity.
  • Diagnostics and operational logs: typically retained up to 90 days.
  • Financial/compliance records: retained as required by law (for example, tax and accounting requirements).

Your Choices

  • You can disable push notifications any time in app settings or device settings.
  • You can request account/data deletion from our data deletion page.
